Continuing Education

  • BrainFuse - All of California's 1,120 public libraries can have a two year subscription to Brainfuse's JobNow and VetNow platforms. The VetNow platform helps veterans learn new skills, prepare for certification testing, translate military skills to civilian life, create more impactful civilian resumés, improve interviewing techniques for veterans, and search for jobs. For access call your local library or visit them online. You can get an introduction on JobNow and VetNow at the CALL Academy (you need to be logged in to see these tutorials). Use this link to view "JobNow & VetNow, Where Are you Now?" which is training on effective website placement of the VetNow & JobNow, so that veterans and job seekers can easily find the link on your website.
  • California Transition Assistance Program - Core Curriculum, Education Pathway, Employment Pathway and Entrepreneurship Pathway
  • Increasing Veterans' Access with eBenefits - The VA eBenefits web portal is free to Veterans, Service members, and eligible dependents and offers 55+ self-service features. Understanding eBenefits will allow you to assist eligible users in accessing the portal so they can effectively manage their VA benefits and military information. This webinar presents an overview of the eBenefits registration, basic navigation, reference contacts, and key resources. Click through the slides and view a transcript of the audio.
